That moral sense
We need to extend our " tribal morality" to become a planetary ethic as the late, great Paul Kurtz declaimed. Why should our charity remain at home. Mine extends world-wide.
Too bad the rogue Bush-Cheney did not appreciate just war theory with their war in Iraq as far too many civilians lost their lives. They lacked empathy for those people and others for whom they had others to torture people whether under our control or by renditions to other nations.
Here I dissent from Obama-Biden-Holder in finding that those two and others should face prosecution for causing torture.
